Constitution changelog

What changed in each version, and who authorised it.

All changes require explicit authorisation. Record who authorised the change and why. Never rewrite history: supersede a version, never silently edit one.

1.0.2 — 2026-11-01 — ratified (amendment)

Authorised by the channel owner: "REMOVE 'Christianity' from everywhere. Use Kingdom of God or belonging to Christ or Christendom everywhere (including the scripts and videos)."

Added:

  • PRO-15 — Naming the movement "Christianity" (BLOCKER, applies to every document kind). Three detectors: the -ism itself and the phrase forms ("Christian religion", "Christian faith", "Christian media", …) block; the -ian label for people routes to review, because context decides. The prohibition carries a machine-readable terminology_policy that the site renders.
  • VAL-17 — Does the content name the movement as the Kingdom of God or belonging to Christ? BLOCKER, required attestation for script and research.
  • terminology.retired records the withdrawn label, its three replacements, and the reason.
  • terminology.preferred gains "the Kingdom of God", "belonging to Christ", "those who belong to Christ", "Christendom"; terminology.avoid gains the seven phrase forms.
  • docs/TERMINOLOGY.md, published as a site page.

Changed:

  • identity.mission: "Christian evangelism" → "Proclaiming the Kingdom of God".
  • identity.self_description added: "A Bible-centred channel for the Kingdom of God…".
  • PRO-10 description: "Christian outcome" → "faithful outcome".
  • Pillar jesus_and_christianity → jesus_and_the_kingdom, labelled "Jesus & the Kingdom of God", with an idempotent data migration for persisted projects.
  • Detectors gained exempt_quotation. Verified Scripture quotations are exempt from style prohibitions, so Acts 11:26, Acts 26:28 and 1 Peter 4:16 can be quoted without being edited. Unverified quotations are not exempt, so the exemption is not a loophole.

Not changed:

  • The licensed corpus. Scripture is read as written; the corpus is never edited to satisfy a rule.
  • 1.0.0 and 1.0.1 remain byte-identical and loadable.

Known limitation:

  • The negation heuristic can downgrade a match governed by a negated following clause. PRO-15 findings stay visible in the audit; DET-PRO-15c always routes to a reviewer, not to silence.

1.0.1 — 2026-11-01 — ratified (amendment)

Authorised by the channel owner in response to blocker 1: "the constitution never states the Father–Son–Spirit relation positively." The owner chose a bounded, deliberately unfinished definition over asserting a formulation the channel has not settled.

Added:

  • DOC-12 — The oneness of God, bounded definition. God is one in being and purpose and is revealed definitively in Christ; the constitution states no formulation of the internal relations and no agent may present one as the channel's position. Seven requirements, including "never use 'oneness' as a slogan" and the human-review routing rule.
  • PRO-14 — Asserting a settled definition of the Godhead (BLOCKER, THEOLOGY_UNCERTAIN). Three detectors: Trinitarian assertion, modalist/unipersonal assertion, and appeals to technical doctrines of the internal relations (eternal generation, procession, intra-Trinitarian, inner life of the Godhead). The finding is not that the content is wrong — it is that the channel has no authorised position to teach.
  • VAL-16 — Does the content avoid asserting a settled definition of the internal relations? BLOCKER, required attestation for script and research. Narration and Shorts are derived from an attested script, so the requirement is not duplicated there.
  • DISP-06 — The internal relations of the Godhead, naming the three positions fairly and recording that the series position is undefined.
  • identity.framework_note now states what "oneness" means and what it does not.
  • enforcement.godhead_review records the triple gate: a PRO-14 finding, a missing VAL-16 attestation, or a declared Godhead subject each forces NEEDS_THEOLOGICAL_REVIEW.

Changed:

  • Tests no longer pin a version. loaded follows current.json, superseded versions are asserted to remain loadable and unamended, and the schema is validated against every version on disk.
  • Six new tests cover the amendment, including the case that must pass: describing how other traditions formulate the Godhead without asserting one.

Not changed:

  • No doctrine, prohibition, rule or detector from 1.0.0 was edited or removed. 1.0.0 remains on disk, byte-identical, and still loadable.

Why this and not a definition: the alternative was to write a Christology the operator has not stated. A system that manufactures certainty to unblock a pipeline is exactly the failure mode this constitution exists to prevent. The gate is now explicit, auditable, and visible in every script's policy pack.

1.0.0 — 2026-11-01 — ratified

Initial constitution, derived from the operator's project brief (Parts II–III and the dispensationalism addendum).

Added:

  • Identity: Relational Oneness Theology; explicit instruction not to classify the position as Trinitarian or Unitarian by default.
  • Core claim: God is relational in nature, not transactional, with the positive/negative statement and the requirement to demonstrate it from the text.
  • 11 doctrines: God's character, sin as rupture, wrath, cross/forgiveness, obedience, Jesus as definitive revelation, justice, prayer, sovereignty/salvation, Israel/church/kingdom, hermeneutics.
  • 13 prohibitions with regex detectors: transactional framing, penal substitution as controlling, Calvinist determinism, dispensationalism (blocker), replacement theology, etymology fallacy, fabricated quotes/testimonies, unverified historical claims, end-times sensationalism, misrepresentation of other religions, prosperity/shame appeals, misleading clickbait, false certainty.
  • Terminology lists, including dispensational markers on the avoid list.
  • 15 validation rules mapped to the brief's publication criteria.
  • Seven statuses and a publication gate that blocks on five of them.
  • Five disputed-interpretation entries, including the deliberately unresolved nature of final judgment.
  • Approved-sources policy with a corpus manifest requirement.
  • Dispensationalism rejection block: seven rejected positions, amillennial governing alternative, prophetic method, and blocking enforcement.

Notes:

  • kaphar, paradidomi, haphak, and yada are handled as terms requiring lexical and contextual evidence rather than fixed glosses, to avoid the etymology fallacy the constitution itself forbids.
  • The nature of hell is marked unresolved on purpose. A video taking a firm position must route to human review.
  • Planning cost figures for agents are not part of the constitution; they live in the registry.
